Stranges News: Flamingos Heed Barry White's Advice and Just Get It On
10:55AM August 14, 2012

Staff at a nature park in East Sussex in the U.K. were desperate to have their Chilean flamingos breed to boost their species, but were coming up short -- until, that is, they turned the birds on to some baby-making music.

The Telegraph reports keepers piped in the music of Barry White and Marvin Gaye along with recorded mating calls from the birds, and lo and behold, their passionate play worked: the park recently welcomed its first chick born in captivity since 2009. What's more, the birds are also sitting on three other eggs, which could hatch in a matter of weeks if all goes well.
